High School

English & Literacy Support Teacher (Full-time)

We are looking for a full-time, dynamic English Teacher with a passion for teaching Years 7 to 9 to act in a supporting role for students across the learning spectrum, commencing in January 2021.

The successful candidate, who will be an integral member of the English Department, must demonstrate an ability to cater to students with diverse needs, ranging from those who require learning support to those students of higher academic ability.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a proven track record in teaching English and in English skills development, as well as an ability to engage students of all levels.  Experience in Literacy support would be highly regarded.  Good classroom management skills are a necessity, as the teacher will work with students in small groups as well as with one-on-one withdrawals.

Reporting to the Head of Department for English and the Head of General Studies, the successful candidate will also be responsible for entering and maintaining NCCD data for the relevant students.

High School

Mathematics (Full-time)

Applications are invited from passionate, motivated and experienced High School Mathematics Teachers for a full-time position at KTC commencing in January 2021.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom teacher, a collaborative practitioner and ready to contribute to the development of the Mathematics Faculty in our High School.

He/She will have a deep knowledge and understanding of Mathematics with demonstrated success in teaching Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 to HSC level.

The successful applicant will be able to inspire students to learn by differentiating the curriculum, using classroom strategies which encourage students to be independent and confident learners.

Early Learning

Cert III Teacher – Wednesday to Friday, immediate start
and
Cert III / Diploma – Monday to Friday from January 2021
ECT – 2 days, from January 2021

We are seeking expressions of interest from Cert III / Diploma qualified Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to work in our Early Learning Centres on varying bases (as above).

High School Teachers – Casual Pool

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom teacher, a collaborative practitioner and be ready to support the school across a range of subjects, as required.  You should be a passionate, motivated and experienced High School Teacher, with demonstrated success in secondary teaching at all levels.

The successful applicant will be able to inspire students to learn and support them in their ongoing study, in their regular teacher’s absence.
