Head of Department, Science

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and High School Science Teacher for a full-time position.  The ideal candidate will have considerable school experience teaching Chemistry and Science, and leadership skills to lead the Science Department.

1 x full-time position available, commencing at the beginning of Term 3, 20 July 2020 or as soon as practicable thereafter.

School Counsellor / Psychologist, K-12

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and inspiring school Counsellor / Psychologist for a full-time position.  The ideal candidate will have considerable school experience, a strong knowledge of the issues facing children and young people and a passion for working with students to ensure the best possible outcomes.

1 x full-time position available, commencing as soon as the right candidate is identified.  The position will initially be until the end of the 2020 academic year, with the potential for permanency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting children and adolescents (experience in working with Primary and High School students is essential)
  • Ability to assess the emotional and psychological wellbeing and needs of students (assessment, rating, observation)
  • Ability to make recommendations and initiate therapy and other interventions for individuals and groups
  • Experience with mental health issues
  • Experience writing reports and recommendations
  • Referral and liaison internally and externally
  • Design, coordinate and facilitate educational programmes (whole-school & year-specific issues and concerns
  • Ability to inform school policy based on training, experience and expertise
  • Appropriate professional membership

Curriculum / Learning Support Teacher, High School

We are seeking a skilled, contemporary and passionate Curriculum / Learning Support Teacher – with a strong focus on literacy in Years 7-12 –  to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our High school students.

A full-time position and open for applications until a suitable candidate is appointed.  The position will initially be until the end of the 2020 academic year, with the potential for permanency for the right teacher.

Requirements

  • NESA registered Learning Support Teacher or Secondary Teacher with Learning Support experience
  • current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • experience delivering a range of literacy and/or numeracy strategies to high school students
  • strong knowledge of NSW and Australian Curriculum standards
  • ability to differentiate, modify and implement curriculum to suit individual learning needs
  • excellent communication and relationship skills
  • ability to work collaboratively within the College community, including faculty.

Early Learning

Cert III Educators – Full Time, Part-Time and Casual Pool

We are seeking expressions of interest from Cert III qualified Educators to work in our Early Learning Centres on a part-time basis.
Responsible to the Director, you will work from 1pm to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and from 7.30am to 3.30pm on Fridays.

High School Teachers – Casual Pool

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom teacher, a collaborative practitioner and be ready to support the school across a range of subjects, as required.  You should be a passionate, motivated and experienced High School Teacher, with demonstrated success in secondary teaching at all levels.

The successful applicant will be able to inspire students to learn and support them in their ongoing study, in their regular teacher’s absence.
