High School

 

Stage 6 Chemistry and 7-10 General Science

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced High School Chemistry/Science Teachers to work in our High School from the commencement of 2022.  The position is full-time, with the potential to consider a Head of Department role for the right candidate.  Salary will be determined according to the NSW Independent Schools Award based on education, accreditation and experience.

The successful candidate will undertake face-to-face teaching in our Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools (roster to be determined over the summer break)

  • Evidence of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) registration

Primary School

 

School Psychologist – Part-time (0.75 FTE)

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced School Psychologists from the commencement of 2022.  The position is part-time, with preference to Psychologists who have experience working with primary school aged children.

Salary will be determined according to the NSW Independent Schools (General Staff) Award based on education, accreditation and experience.

The successful candidate will undertake face-to-face counselling primarily in our Primary School, as the High School Psychologist will be returning in Term 1, 2022 from Maternity Leave, also on an anticipated 0.75 FTE capacity.

Teacher’s Aide (School hours, term time)

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teacher Aides to work with students with additional learning needs.  These roles are five (5) days per week, school hours only – from 24 January until 12 December 2022, with the possibility of extension.

Specific duties include:

  • support students in the classroom to achieve their learning and social goals
  • work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • some planning and organisation of small group activities
  • preparation of resources
  • work during normal school hours
  • some off-site travel may be required for excursions and extra-curricular activities.

Essential / Desirable requirements, skills and qualifications:

  • demonstrated ability to follow directions and prioritise
  • demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel
  • demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work
  • experience working in a classroom environment
  • Certificate III in Education Support and/or experience working with students with additional learning needs
  • willingness to toilet students is essential
  • experience working with children with autism and being able to use basic sign language would be advantageous for one of these 2 positions
  • adherence to relevant school policies and ethos will be required
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC), employee clearance (NSW)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • First Aid Training

Early Learning

Cert III Teacher |  Cert III / Diploma  |  ECT  |  Jewish Studies

We are seeking expressions of interest from Cert III / Diploma qualified Educators, Early Childhood Teachers and Jewish Studies Teachers to work in our Early Learning Centres on varying bases (as above).

Casual Teachers – Primary School & High School

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom teacher, a collaborative practitioner and be ready to support the school across a range of subjects, as required.  You should be a passionate, motivated and experienced High School / Primary School Teacher, with demonstrated success in secondary / primary teaching at all levels.

The successful applicant will be able to inspire students to learn and support them in their ongoing study, in their regular teacher’s absence.
